We carry out individualised psychological assessments
Psychological assessments can respond to different needs. They don't always start from a problem; they can also be a tool to get to know ourselves better, understand how we work and discover aspects we may not have identified until now.
I want to get to know myself better
If you want to better understand your way of being and functioning, we can explore:
- ● Personality and characteristic traits
- ● Emotional management
- ● Thoughts and behaviour patterns
- ● The way you relate to others
- ● Self-esteem and self-concept
- ● Personal strengths and resources
I want to understand what is happening to me
When there are difficulties that interfere with daily life or a psychological problem is suspected, the assessment allows us to look more deeply into what is happening and better understand the factors that may be related to it.
We can help to identify:
- ● ADHD and attention difficulties
- ● ASD and difficulties in communication and social interaction
- ● Anxiety, fears and emotional difficulties
- ● OCD and obsessive-compulsive symptoms
- ● Mood and depressive symptoms
- ● Behavioural difficulties and emotional regulation
- ● Learning difficulties and cognitive functioning
How do we carry out the assessment?
Each assessment is adapted to the person, their situation and the reason for consultation. The aim is not just to obtain results, but to bring together all the information needed to better understand what is happening and guide the next steps.
1. First interview
We learn about the reason for consultation and the person's history and context, gather the necessary information and define what we want to explore.
2. Assessment
Depending on each case, we select the interviews, tests and questionnaires we consider most appropriate. Not everyone needs the same tests or the same assessment process.
3. Analysis of results
We bring together the information from the interviews, personal history, context and test results to understand how the person functions and respond to the reason for consultation.
4. Guidance
We explain the results and conclusions clearly and understandably, and offer guidance on the next steps or, when necessary, on the most appropriate intervention.
5. Report
When necessary, we prepare a psychological report that includes the results, conclusions and professional recommendations.
