Qualifications and Professional Experience
I hold a degree in Psychology (specializing in Clinical Psychology) from the Open University of Catalonia (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), complemented by extensive additional training and experience in treating a range of emotional and psychological issues.
I have worked as a psychiatric assistant within the Mental Health Network of the Institute for Healthcare Assistance (Institut d'Assistència Sanitària – Santa Caterina Hospital, Salt), where I gained experience in providing care for individuals with severe mental disorders. I have also collaborated with the Association for Families and Mental Health of Girona and its surrounding regions (Associació de Família i Salut Mental de Girona i Comarques), participating in psychotherapeutic activities aimed at improving patients' well-being.
In recent years, I have practiced professionally at various medical specialty centers in Girona. During this time, I have conducted assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for children, adolescents, and adults. I also provide couples therapy and family counseling, always tailoring my approach to the specific needs of each case.
Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic practice is based on an integrative approach, combining techniques from cognitive-behavioral psychology—a field recognized for its effectiveness in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), addictions, and adjustment disorders.
This approach is enriched by the principles of humanistic psychology, which emphasize empathy, authenticity, and unconditional acceptance.
In my sessions, I work to establish a trusting therapeutic bond, allowing the patient to explore their emotions and discover tools to enhance their well-being.
For couples therapy, I tailor interventions to the specific needs of each relationship, employing communication techniques, emotionally focused therapy, and conflict-resolution strategies. I also apply a systemic approach, analyzing family dynamics and interpersonal relationships to foster emotional balance within the family system.
Therapeutic Goal
My goal is to support individuals through their process of change and personal growth by providing a safe and respectful space. We work together to achieve established objectives, enhancing emotional well-being, self-awareness, and the quality of personal relationships.

Education and Professional Experience
I hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Vic, where I also completed a Master’s degree in General Health Psychology. Additionally, I earned a dual Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Third-Generation Therapies from the European Higher Institute of Barcelona (Institut Superior Europeu de Barcelona).
My professional career has focused on the fields of mental health and intellectual disability, with a particular emphasis on individuals with severe mental disorders and their families. I have worked as a psychologist at *Espai Situa’t* in Girona (part of the Mental Health Catalonia Federation), where I provide information, guidance, and emotional support to those affected and their support networks. I also collaborate with the *Associació Família i Salut Mental de Girona i Comarques* (Family and Mental Health Association of Girona and its surrounding regions), providing psychological care to the family members of individuals with mental disorders.
During my training, I completed clinical internships at Santa Caterina Hospital (Catalan Health Institute), working within units such as palliative care, long-term care, convalescence, and bereavement support groups. These experiences have helped me develop an empathetic and supportive approach when working with individuals in situations of significant emotional vulnerability.
Therapeutic Approach
I view psychotherapy as a safe space—built on respect and trust—where I can listen to, understand, and support individuals throughout their process of change.
My approach is person-centered, integrating techniques from "third-wave" therapies—such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness—within a humanistic framework that emphasizes empathy, acceptance, and connection to one’s own values.
I work with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, grief, adjustment difficulties, or emotional distress related to mental health concerns. I also provide support to family caregivers, recognizing the emotional complexity involved in accompanying someone with mental health conditions.
Therapeutic Goal
My goal is to help you recognize and strengthen your own resources, enabling you to navigate emotional challenges and live in a way that is more aligned with what is truly important to you. I strive to provide a space where you feel heard, validated, and free to explore and grow emotionally.
